It is rather hard to write about ourselves not in a first person, but let’s pretend as if somebody else has done it. Born in a city of Almaty (Kazakhstan) Aidar and Oleg grew up in the same neighborhood but they weren’t acquainted till their common friends eventually introduced them to each other in 2001. By that time Oleg was working as a production manager on a radio station and was a part of the Hip Hop band Monoxide, and Aidar had a radio show on another. Aidar has met Oleg a couple of times in night clubs of Almaty and formed his opinion of him as being really weird guy, Oleg thought the same about Aidar. Despite the fact that they come from completely different musical backgrounds they understood each others grooves. For many times Oleg and his band were guests on Aidar’s show sharing each others music knowledge and interests. In 2005 they started their work in the same company, at the same time Oleg was working on another live music project “Congo” and Aidar kept djing throwing his parties in different clubs of Almaty and Astana. For all these years they kept talking about their collaboration in music but it did not go past being just an idea till one russian electronic project Lokitas with Aidar’s help got to know with Oleg’s music production and asked them to do a remix on their upcoming single Magenta. Now they were forced to sit down in the studio and start making something. 1 year of Oleg’s musical education, self-made instrumental skills and his passion to music plus Aidar’s 8 years djing experience has turned into what you are about to hear.
