Simon Bechus AKA Simon B hails from Cape Town South Africa. He fell in love with house music in the early mid 90's jamming to Frankie Knuckles and Marshall Jefferson at South Africas 1st house club Funky Lemons! Simon's Cousin Dj Warren was a huge creator of the underground scene in Cape Town starting the legendary Power Station... Simon fell in love with vinyl and even scratching.
After coming to Dubai and getting a job with National Radio 1 hosting the Afternoon Session he bought his DJ equipment and started from the begginning with a style of deep, to tech to progressive house music. Mr B has played at Zinc, Lotus 1, Submarine, Amatista, Creamfield Abu Dhabi, Hiltonia and has opened for Seb Fontaine. Simon has resided at Cubes, Realx@12, SAX, Oceans and Level Lounge where he currently plays. You can also catch him at the legendary Plastik every Friday and Alpha once a month.
