Stickman - Born into music in 1980 - Having everything from Johnny Cash, Neil Diamond, Motzart, The Rolling Stones... in the collection of "records" at home in South Africa; music has always been the feature and highlight to life.  After saving up for the first guitar at 13, the rock star wannabe came to life. 

DJing has been a journey; Played as a resident in a retro clubs, doing electro in festivals in SA to discovering house and the sub genres that go with it. Now playing old school; Psychedelic rock, Synth pop, Electro pop, Glam, Blues, Jazz and Disco to what makes a full retro sound.

You've been out here for a years now - what do you love and hate about Dubai?

Love Dubai, fine you need to get out a few times a year to explore the world and break free. It is a good life n there are good people here doing great things for the music scene, love being a part of it)))

Hate Dubai, Comercial club scene does my head in, most DJs probably say that. Summer gets me down but good weather is only a few hours flight away)))

Where do you like clubbing so far?

3 Guesses? 360 n Trilogy top the list for super dooper people and amazing music that keeps my body moving all night. 

I'd describe my sound as...

Fun filled retro that is never gets CHEEZEY. 

And what's planned for the rest of the year?
The next year I want to explore Disco a lot more, old to Nu. Not its just an idea, lets see what happens.

Kraftwerk does it for me, The Radioactivity Remix by Kraftwerk themselves still gets people moving after nearly 30 years.
