Genre: Deep House, Deep Tech, Tech House

Location: Dubai, UAE

Music is life, life is green. There’s no goal, it evolves by itself in a flow. It helps me get in touch with a world i can't see, but i feel is there, a world to explore. it grounds me, it lets me grow. it keeps me connected and in balance, it moves me.

Moving to Amsterdam in the early 90’s helped me shape my music. A city with no restrictions, a city where every sound was around. As dj and producer, depth, soul and intelligence are elements in music that I hope to find. My hips need to move, my soul needs to glow and my head needs to… fly. As my life evolves, so does my music, always with those same elements. Having moved to Dubai recently, a new life awaits…..
Music is life, life is green... .. to be continued..

What do you love and hate about Dubai?

What I really love about Dubai is that it’s such a new city, there are so many possibilities here and it has such a diversity of people. Those who live here came to explore, in search of a better life, something new. Unfortunately, because Dubai is still so young, it lacks depth, character and also culture - as in creativeness. It’s ONLY what meets the eye, nothing beyond. Everything is still on the surface, with little foundation. But hey, this means a promising future ☺

Where do you like clubbing in Dubai?

Wherever there’s good music ☺ lately there have been some quality artists at Trilogy like Dan Ghenacia & Dyed Soundorom who really delivered! I also like what the Ohm crew does at Trilogy. Strut and Audiotonic at 360 are amazing club nights and I really enjoyed the Circoloco parties at Media One.

What is your plan for a future and where do you want to be in 5 years time?

Travel the world and the seven seas ;) doing what I love most: dj-ing & producing, having my own label, an awesome studio and kids! Haha we’ll see about the last one.. Dubai probably still as my home base.

I'd describe my sound as...

D E E P  T E C H d -.- b

The best new track I've heard is....

The Chain - Geo (Original Mix) on R&S Records

And tell us something that not everyone knows about you...

I see dead people! Ha! Uhmm, I have curly hair which once reached my elbows..
