One DJ's name is synonymous with Ibiza and that is, DJ, Producer and Space Ibiza resident Jonthan Ulysses. Jonthan is, of course, recognised worldwide for bieng one of Space, Ibiza's main residents, with 10 seasons under his belt, his up-tempo driving, electronic, pumping house styles sees him and play some of the best set time the club has to offer to a 2,000 strong crowd every week However, Jon's DJ carrer was no overnight sensation. Over the past 15 years his love of all things dance has helped him build a stellar reputation as a top house DJ.

After leaving school, Jon formed a Sound System called Soul-Plus playing reggae, soul and rare grooves and competing in sound clashes across South London. This led to him bieng invited to a DJ for a friend over in Ibiza, and making his appearances in Ibiza's super clubs Amnesia, El Divino, Pacha, Es Paradis, Eden and Privilege and, of course, Space and for the past 9 years indulging in his passion for music as the Space resident. It is understandable the Jon describes his residency at Space as "living the dream' playinh regularly alongside luminaries including Erick Morillo, Sasha, David Guetta, Darren Emerson, Laurent Garnier, Tom Novy, Carl Cox and many more Space not only won 'Best Clubin the World' Dance Star 2005 and 'We love Sundays' at Space Best Club Night, but the House Music Awards saw Jon representing Space and collecting the prestigous Best Club 2005 award on it's behalf in London.

Always staying true to his own style but never pigeon holing the music he plays, he keeps his CD case suitably eclectic. Globally, Jon takes control of the decks at the countless major clubs, playing in every continent in every country. Theatro in Morocco, Kristal Club in Romania, Redlight in Paris, Love Parade, Berlin, Attica in Singapore, La Rocha in Belguim and Fabrik, Madrid to name a few. Back on home turf, his bookings take him from the Ministry of Sound, Gatecrasher, Pacha, the Egg and SE1 (London) to Garlands in Liverpool, Sankey's in Manchester, Byblos, Glasgow and Kiss Da Funk in Leeds and the Hat Club.JOn is no stranger to radio either, making numerous appearances on Radio 1, Pete Tongs Essential Mix, Kiss 100, Ministry of Sound and Galaxy (Manchester/ Bristol) having revently conducted an experience of Ibiza interview on Pete Tongs Essential Selection in June 2008. In recognition of his hard workd and passion for music, 203 saw Jon nominated by DJ magazine for Best Ibiza DJ. 2004 he took part in the live filming of the 'Gate to Ibiza', mixed with DJ Henry.

Jon DJ's regurly for the infamous 'In Bed With Space World Tour' parties, a part of the German maestro, Mind Group. He has also worked on a number of the highly successful and popular 'In Bed With Space' compilations spanning 2003-2008. He also plays globally as main resident of the Space Ibiza Tour. Jonathan alongside David Morano can be seen on the Space album 2005 DVD bieng interviewd alongside Carl Coz, Jon quotes ' toplay at Space is like playing to God'. He has mixed 3 of the Space, Ibiza compilations 1999-2001. Some of past years highlights include Jonathan DJing on the Space float at the Berling Love PArade which made a welcome return from obscurity bieng the biggest event ever, playing to a million a half strong crowd and later at 90 Degrees in Berling and a 25,000 strong crowd watched him entertain at the Paradise Music Festival in Malaga Production now takes up a chunky slice of Jon's time.

He works with various producers including TOme Neville, Phil Allen, and Matt Scwartz of the Destined label. 2008's production diary is ever growing, tracks bieng produced with Juan Kidd aka Jason Herd and Peter Brown. With a track due for release in August 2008 'Panic Attack' Jonathan Ulysses/Juan Kidd. This summer sees the release of the 'In Bed With Space Series 10'CD (mixed by Jonaathan Ulysses and Paul Lomax), and the 'Ibiza Opening Party' compilation, downloadable exclusively from i-tunes in conjunction with BigInIbiza (ex-UMM Records) After a fantastic opening party set at Space this year on the sunset terrace, in Ibiza this summer, you can catch JOnation playing most Sundays for "We Love" @ Spacce, for 'Salvation' El Divino most Tuesdays.
