What are you wearing right now?
“I have a super-new thick rubber fl uorescent blue belt by NOOKA and a watch to match! A pair of black patent leather Adidas trainers with a pedometer built in. Ultimately I’m
a recessionista, which means I use whatever I can get to fl ash up a wardrobe of jeans and vintage, to feel new and make me look like I have more money than I have.”

Favourite designers?
“OMG, I do love the Balmain and Givenchy designers as well as some things from Raf Simmons. The future of fashion to me is exclusivity, so if anyone’s gonna be wearing them around town, it’s not gonna work for me!”

Favourite boutique?
“I do like Kokon To Zai in Soho in London and Seven in NYC. The people in the stores are from another planet usually and because they know me, they can’t give me shade (laughs). But I also like to go to Colette in Paris. I’m just saying that to be cool, naturally.”

Favourite sunglasses?
“I used to have the hots for vintage shades - Montana, Mikli, Cutler and Gross - but then I met Graham Mulcahy in Sydney, Australia. He is the hottest straight guy and sold his fi rst line of glasses to a bigger company when he was just 21! He made me want to design glasses, and he wants to design music, so I am making him a track to collaborate on. But Graz is the name of his new company and they are the most gorgeous glasses on the planet.”

Most treasured possession?
“Herve Van Der Stratton made me a gold chain that has a big ‘LT’ in a wreath in the middle of it! Or maybe my Human teeth bracelet made by Bert Industries and cast in silver. Maybe my jacket from the transexual Christina, who was played by Marilyn Manson in the Party Monster movie? Or maybe it’s my Kohshin Satoh DJ jacket with a Hermes-like camoufl age print with hands and turntable styluses making the bird pattern hunting design. I couldn’t just pick one!”

What do you have in the pipeline?
“‘Let’s Make Nasty’ off my ‘Club Badd’ album has been at No.1 for fi ve weeks on the Beatport indie dance download chart, and ‘Licky’ has just been licensed to Shontelle for her new album and the new Russell Brand movie Get Him To The Greek. Also Ultra is going to release
 ‘Club Badder’, which is a collection of the smash remixes and several
 exciting new tunes. The next single is ‘Agyness Deyn’, about the amazing hipster supermodel, who weirdly lives underneath me in Brooklyn. I saw her directly after I had written the song about her!”
