There are some rumors that refuse to go away. The Rolling Stones will play here next summer, U2 will play here next NYE and Madonna will be coming over this summer.

Well, the last one's true, you'll be very happy to know as the Material Girl is stopping off in Abu Dhabi on Sunday June 3 as part of her world wide tour promoting her new album out in March, MDNA. After impressing a global audience well into the millions as the half-time entertainment during the recent Super Bowl, it seems Madonna's stage show will be an all singing all dancing affair. And the 53 year old looked in fine spirits (even if she might have lip synched her way through the show) as she bounded across the stage in an energetic 7 minute performance.

Tickets are on sale from February 27 via thinkflash.ae and start at Dhs350. And for those questioning the date: yes, it is a Sunday night, and yes it is at the Yas Arena and most likely will be a little on the sweaty side.
