While you might have thought that Flash would rest on their laurels after their back-to-back Madonna blowout, they've turned to dance music for their next concert, inviting over Dutch trance DJ Ferry Corsten to headline at Yas Island on Thursday June 28.
A regular visitor to these shores, Ferry never fails to light up the clubs he's played at (including Peppermint and the Formula 1 concerts) thanks to his ultra-energetic mix of trance, electro and pumping house. A virtual ever-present in the DJ Magazine Top 100 poll, 39 year old Ferry has a long production history behind him, having released his first album before the turn of the millenium. Since then, thanks to his tireless touring and his radio schedule - Corsten's Countdown, which is syndicated across the world - he's become one of the leading dance music DJs in the world. And he'll return to Abu Dhabi 2 years after playing the Formula 1 concerts to play the du Arena on Thursday June 28, Flash's last gig of the summer until after Ramadan. |
