Loaded and Freshly Laced bow out for the summer

Not everything about Dubai's club scene has to scream high end table service. And one bar/club that bucks that trend is Casa Latina. Now defunct hip hop and funk night Freshly Laced were the first to capitalise on its quirky charms, before indie and alternative night Loaded made it their monthly home.

And springing out of the embers of Freshly Laced came Deep Crates. And the Deep Crates founder DJ Lobito is celebrating 2 years at Casa Latina on Thursday July 12 by throwing a birthday party. If you're in need of a serious funk, soul and hip hop injection, then this is the night for you. Ladies get free wine before midnight, while they have Dhs20 drink deals all night, making it one of the most affordable and coolest joints in town.

Not to be outdone, Loaded throw their season closing party on Friday July 13, this time with a Madchester theme. Celebrating the great city of Manchester, they'll be playing everything from The Stone Roses to The Smiths, via Hacienda house classics and Oasis. Like Deep Crates, they have free entry and Dhs20 drink deals all night, with doors opening at 9pm.
