Legendary DJ & producer Roger Sanchez is a name synonymous with house music. Boasting a career that has spanned over three decades, Sanchez has won numerous awards, released countless productions, toured the world and is still one of the most in-demand names in electronic music.
His career began in New York alongside DJs such as Erick Morillo and Danny Tenaglia, but it wasn’t until he made the move to Ibiza that his career really took off, securing a summer residency in 2000 and every year since.
A strong producer, Sanchez has remixed tracks for some of the world’s biggest music artists including Maroon 5, Daft Punk, Madonna and Kylie Minogue. His remix of No Doubt’s Hella Good secured him a Grammy Award for Best Remixed Recording in 2003. He has also had several singles charting highly, with 2001’s Another Chance reaching number one in the UK.
Sanchez has also been awarded many of the industry’s top gongs, including an International Dance Music Award in 2007 for Best Podcast and four awards for Best House DJ in the DJ Awards. Sanchez has also been frequently listed in the DJ Mag Top 100 list, debuting at 13 in 1997’s inaugural list and peaking at 9th place two years later.
