The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mol.gov.om\/\">Ministry of Labour<\/a> has set guidelines to ensure a balance between work and the spiritual atmosphere of the holy month.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\"><strong>Public Sector Working Hours <\/strong><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">in Oman<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Government employees will work for five hours straight, from <strong>9 AM to 2 PM<\/strong>. However, some workplaces may allow flexible hours. This option applies only to roles where flexible timing doesn\u2019t interfere with workflow. Additionally, <strong>at least 50% of employees must be physically present at the workplace<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\"><strong>Private Sector Working Hours <\/strong><strong><span lang=\"en-US\">during Ramadan 2025<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Muslim employees in private companies will have their <strong>working hours reduced to six hours per day<\/strong>, with a maximum of 30 hours per week.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministry of Labour encourages businesses to consider flexible schedules and remote work wherever possible.
