Abu Dhabi is adding a soulful note to its cultural calendar with a special tribute concert for Quincy Jones, happening on April 29 at The Black Box at NYU Abu Dhabi<\/strong>. Part of the Abu Dhabi Festival 2025<\/a>, the event pays homage to the legendary jazz musician and producer, aligning with this year\u2019s designation of Abu Dhabi as the Global Host City for UNESCO\u2019s International Jazz Day<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The concert will feature Riley Mulherkar, a rising name in the jazz scene, performing alongside The Westerlies, a brass quartet<\/strong> known for blending classical technique with a modern jazz edge. Together, they\u2019ll perform selections from Mulherkar\u2019s debut album “Riley,” as well as compositions inspired by \u2014 and in tribute to \u2014 Quincy Jones.<\/p>\n
