Users of Dubai Metro<\/strong> can expect cooler journeys this summer thanks to a major upgrade by Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The system overhaul focused on improving air conditioning and ventilation across stations and car parks along the Red and Green Lines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Temperatures across the Metro network are now being maintained at a steady 24-25\u00b0C, a key improvement considering that outdoor temperatures in Dubai can reach over 40\u00b0C during summer months.<\/p>\n

This upgrade is part of the largest AC and ventilation overhaul in the Metro\u2019s history, targeting 876 ventilation assets at 14 stations and two car parks along the Red Line<\/strong> \u2014 all carried out without affecting daily train operations.<\/p>\n

Previously,\u00a0RTA had overhauled 261 units across 13 other stations. With Metro doors opening every two to four minutes and high passenger volumes, managing internal temperatures is essential to ensure consistent comfort on platforms and inside cabins.<\/p>\n
