And here are the first results: a couple of days ago, a <a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/new-tunnel-with-8-lanes-on-umm-suqeim-street-opens-in-dubai\"><strong>new 800-metre-long tunnel<\/strong><\/a> <strong>at the intersection of Umm Suqeim Street and Al Barsha South Street was opened<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-38435\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/RTA_tunnel_Aug_2025_Dubai_media_office-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/RTA_tunnel_Aug_2025_Dubai_media_office-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/RTA_tunnel_Aug_2025_Dubai_media_office-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/RTA_tunnel_Aug_2025_Dubai_media_office-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/RTA_tunnel_Aug_2025_Dubai_media_office-150x75.jpg 150w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/RTA_tunnel_Aug_2025_Dubai_media_office.jpg 1500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Another traffic diversion is now in effect near Dubai Harbour<\/strong>. If you\u2019re heading to the area via King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud Street, traffic is being rerouted through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Al Marsa Street<\/li>\n<li>Al Khayay Street<\/li>\n<li>Al Naseem Street, before merging back onto King Salman Street<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This detour is part of ongoing bridge works aimed at improving flow in this busy part of the city.<\/p>\n<p>Expect more changes soon. Back in early June, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/rta-to-upgrade-traffic-flow-in-40-dubai-locations-this-summer\">RTA announced traffic upgrades at 40 locations<\/a> across Dubai<\/strong>, aimed at improving overall road safety and traffic efficiency.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you usually drive through Al Barsha South, be aware: entry and exit points from Umm Suqeim Street are now temporarily closed.
