As of July 2025, <strong>VFS Global has introduced a new service<\/strong> that lets you <strong>apply for a new passport<\/strong> right here in Dubai \u2014 no consulate visit or flight back home required.<\/p>\n<p>The passport renewal service is now available at Wafi Mall in Dubai at <strong>VFS Global, <a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/dubai-opens-the-worlds-largest-visa-centre-at-wafi-city\">world\u2019s largest visa application centre<\/a><\/strong>, which is currently the only official partner of South Africa\u2019s Department of Home Affairs in the UAE.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29304\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/shutterstock_1510324817.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/shutterstock_1510324817.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/shutterstock_1510324817-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/shutterstock_1510324817-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/shutterstock_1510324817-150x75.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Instead of going through the consulate, you can now follow this procedure:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/vfsglobal.com\/\" target=\"_new\">vfsglobal.com<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Click on \u201cApply for Consular Services \u2192 Passport\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Book a slot<\/li>\n<li>Check the list of required documents<\/li>\n<li>Go to your appointment for biometric enrolment and fee payment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The application is then sent to South Africa for processing. When it\u2019s ready, the new passport will be returned to VFS Global in Dubai for collection.
