Covering 7,000 square meters, this project aims to connect visitors to the land through its focus on local agriculture, community life, and traditional desert living. It\u2019s all about creating a place where people can learn, relax, and experience the desert in an authentic yet contemporary setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design of Liwa Farm Village draws from traditional building techniques<\/strong> that have been passed down through generations: rammed earth walls crafted from local desert sand, windcatchers that help cool down the interiors, and aflaj irrigation systems that ensure water reaches the crops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Roofs made from palm trunks and other natural materials complete the village\u2019s charming, sustainable architecture. These time-tested methods have been adapted to ensure modern comfort, making the village both a historical homage and a practical, sustainable space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With plans for exhibition halls showcasing local heritage<\/strong>, a veterinary facility<\/strong> linked to horse paddocks, and a central majlis for gatherings<\/strong>, the village promises to be a hub for learning and connecting. There will also be a farm-to-table restaurant<\/strong>, a spa surrounded by aromatic lavender and lemongrass<\/strong>, and cozy bungalows tucked among palm groves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While the opening date hasn\u2019t been confirmed yet, early signs suggest the village will open later this year.
