From October 1, 2025, <strong>passengers of flydubai are now allowed to bring one power bank per person<\/strong> in their hand luggage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you&#8217;re planning a trip with the airline, here\u2019s what you need to know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Power banks over 100 Wh<\/strong> (watt-hour) are <strong>strictly prohibited<\/strong> and won\u2019t be allowed on the plane. The power must be clearly marked on the device.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>During the flight, <strong>using power banks is not allowed<\/strong>, including charging your devices or the power bank itself via the aircraft\u2019s power sockets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Power banks must be <strong>kept<\/strong> <strong>in hand baggage only<\/strong>, either under the seat in front of you or in the seat pocket. To be extra safe, it\u2019s recommended you store it in its original packaging or a protective pouch. And, remember, <strong>power banks are not allowed in checked baggage<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These updated rules are part of a broader effort by UAE airlines to ensure the safety of all passengers, following <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/emirates-bans-use-of-power-banks-during-all-flights-from-october-1\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"38781\">similar announcements from Emirates<\/a><\/strong>.
