Marjan, the master developer behind many of these plans, is focused on expanding the emirate&#8217;s mountain landscapes and promoting active tourism. One of their major initiatives is <strong>carving out 100 kilometers of hiking and biking trails<\/strong>, giving outdoor enthusiasts the chance to explore the local scenery in a whole new way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Marjan is also planning to host <strong>cultural and entertainment festivals that will attract over 20,000 visitors annually<\/strong>, offering something for everyone, from music and art to local cultural experiences. These festivals will add to the emirate&#8217;s appeal as a top tourist destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of the <strong>major projects include Al Marjan Island, Marjan Beach<\/strong>, <strong>RAK Central, the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/jebel-jais-2024-25-new-thrills-await-at-uaes-iconic-mountain-escape\">Jebel Jais<\/a> masterplan, and <a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/first-look-at-wynn-al-marjan-island-here-are-photos-of-uaes-most-elite-resort\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"32120\">Wynn Al Marjan Island<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/shutterstock_1498097237.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-39070\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/shutterstock_1498097237.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/shutterstock_1498097237-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/shutterstock_1498097237-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/shutterstock_1498097237-150x75.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The hospitality scene in Ras Al Khaimah will also be expanding significantly, with plans to bring in international hotel brands, joining other ultra-luxury developments: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/armani-beach-residences-coming-to-ras-al-khaimah-first-look-at-new-project\">Armani Beach Residences<\/a><\/strong> (completed by 2030), <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/from-ibiza-to-uae-the-unexpected-hotels-residences-to-open-on-al-marjan-island-by-2027\">The Unexpected Al Marjan Island Hotels and Residences<\/a><\/strong> (opening in 2027), and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/nh-collection-ras-al-khaimah-al-marjan-island-hotel-to-open-in-2028\">NH Collection Hotel and Apartments<\/a><\/strong> (scheduled for 2028).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As new projects rise in the emirate, transport options also undergo significant changes. There&#8217;s a plan to launch an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/dubai-to-rak-trip-in-15-minutes-will-become-possible-with-air-taxi-in-2027\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"42700\">air taxi service between Dubai and Ras Al Khaimah<\/a><\/strong>, with journey <strong>taking only 15 minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Stay tuned for more updates on RAK\u2019s growth and future developments.
