Abu Dhabi Airports has revealed plans to build <strong>more than ten vertiports across the city<\/strong>, paving the way <strong>for air taxi and eVTOL<\/strong> (electric vertical take-off and landing) travel within the capital and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of sitting in traffic, travellers could soon be hopping between airports, business districts, and other emirates in sleek electric aircraft that take off and land vertically.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>first vertiport is already taking shape at Al Bateen Executive Airport<\/strong>, chosen for its central location right in the heart of the city. Biometric solutions are already in place at several touchpoints to speed up the passenger journey.
