Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has <strong>approved 65 locations for the initial rollout<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zone One covers 17 locations<\/strong>. They are located mainly across areas like <strong>Deira, Al Rigga, Al Muraqqabat, parts of Karama<\/strong>, and sections of <strong>Bur Dubai<\/strong>. These are places where taxis are already heavily used for short, everyday trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Zone Two <\/strong>is much larger, with <strong>48 locations<\/strong>. This zone stretches along and around Dubai Creek and connects more areas together. When operations begin in the first quarter of 2026, riders will be able to order a driverless RoboTaxi within these approved zones using a ride-hailing app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you regularly move around Deira, Bur Dubai, Karama, or the Creek area, this service is likely to show up there early. Areas like Downtown Dubai, Dubai Marina, JBR, and the Palm don\u2019t appear in this first phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with driverless RoboTaxi services, another much-awaited transport service is coming to Dubai this year: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/where-to-board-flying-taxis-in-dubai-first-vertiport-locations-announced\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"46611\">flying taxis<\/a> will begin carrying passengers in 2026<\/strong> following <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/air-taxi-completes-first-flight-with-crew-in-dubai-a-big-step-ahead-of-2026-launch\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"46248\">successful test flights<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you move around the city a lot, both RoboTaxi and air taxis are worth keeping an eye on.
