From shorter rides to a new national curriculum, here are 4 changes in 2026 that aim to improve the overall school experience for families. Here\u2019s everything you need to know for the years ahead<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. School Bus Rides Now Limited to 60 Minutes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Long rides have been a major concern for many parents, with some journeys stretching to two hours a day. New regulations state that <strong>school bus rides will now be capped at 45 minutes for younger students and 60 minutes for older ones<\/strong>. This change will ensure they aren\u2019t exhausted before their school day even begins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/dubai-to-test-school-bus-pooling-to-cut-traffic-pilot-phase-begins-in-al-barsha\/\">Dubai is piloting a school bus pooling system in Al Barsha<\/a><\/strong>. Friday Classes End Earlier<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Fridays are already half-days, but private school students will have even shorter Fridays. Class times are adjusted so that kids are out before 11:30 AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This change aligns with an <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/friday-prayers-in-uae-to-start-earlier-in-2026-new-timing-from-january-2\/\">update to Friday prayer times<\/a><\/strong>, allowing students and staff to make it home before prayers begin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
