That\u2019s why this latest road update will feel like a real relief for many commuters. A <strong>new bridge opened in Dubai<\/strong>, <strong>connecting Sheikh Zayed Road and Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street towards Al Karama and Deira<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the key features of the new bridge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Length: 1,000 m<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two lanes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Up to 3,000 vehicles\/hour<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel time reduced to only 1 minute<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-51997\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-1.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-1-300x150.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-1-768x384.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/image-1-150x75.jpeg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of sitting in traffic for up to six minutes, drivers can now make the same stretch in about one minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the third bridge delivered under the Trade Centre Roundabout Development Project. In December,<a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/two-new-bridges-open-at-dubai-world-trade-centre-roundabout-three-more-expected\/\"> <strong>two other bridges under the same project opened<\/strong><\/a> to serve traffic coming from 2nd December Street towards Sheikh Rashid Road and Al Majlis Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Altogether, the <strong>plan includes five bridges with a combined length of 5,000 metres<\/strong> and the conversion of the current roundabout into a signalised intersection. More than half a million residents and visitors are expected to benefit.
