But now, iconic <strong>Burj Al Arab is closing<\/strong> for a full refresh. After years of constant use, the building is heading into an <strong>18-month renovation<\/strong> and should reopen around 2027.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since opening in December 1999, the hotel has built a reputation that goes beyond a typical stay. The plan isn\u2019t to start over, but to refine what\u2019s already there. French interior architect Tristan Auer is behind the Burj Al Arab renovation.
