With so many projects already in the works, another one is now being planned, and it sounds impressive. A <strong>55-kilometre metro line may soon connect Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC)<\/strong>. Dubai\u2019s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has invited consultants to work on the study and design of the project. The experts have until June to submit proposals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s expected that the Airport Express Line would include remote airline check-in, baggage drop-off, and security screening before reaching the airport, allowing passengers to complete key steps of their journey ahead of arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Transport Projects in Dubai<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Another project many have been waiting for, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/dubai-metro-blue-line-heres-where-new-stations-will-be-located\/\">Dubai Metro Blue Line<\/a>, is <a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/dubai-metro-blue-line-launching-september-9-2029-more-details-of-rta-project\/\">expected to open on September 9, 2029<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the same time, some projects are already closer to launch. The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/flying-taxis-are-almost-here-first-station-in-dubai-is-now-ready-near-dxb\/\">first flying taxi station near DXB is now in place<\/a><\/strong> ahead of the promised 2026 launch.
