Some places earn their reputation slowly, and Dar AlSalam is one of them. As the oldest ice cream shop in Qatar, it’s been part of Doha’s food memory for generations. The flavours stay close to the classics (saffron, pistachio, rose), the textures are denser than the Italian-style scoops you’ll find elsewhere in the city, and the experience itself is the appeal, a piece of Qatari food heritage that hasn’t been polished into something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience the teddy at White Foam Cafe<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

White Foam Cafe has built one of the strongest visual identities in Doha’s cafe scene, and the teddy bear that comes perched on top of certain drinks is the part that ended up on every Reels feed. The drinks themselves hold up too, beyond the photo moment, the menu carries some of the best drinks in Doha across the cafe scale, with strong matcha and creative flavour combinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s one of those spots that actually manages to back up the hype once you sit down and order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
