So, if you\u2019re in Dubai during this Eid Al Adha break, there\u2019s plenty of time to stop by.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Museum of the Moon is an art object created by UK artist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/lukejerramartist\/\">Luke Jerram<\/a> (on the image below) using detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface. The glowing installation is an <strong>exact replica of the moon with all the craters and textures<\/strong>, where every 1 cm represents roughly 5 km of the real surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"710\" height=\"381\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/LukeJerram_moon-e1778619700355.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53965\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/LukeJerram_moon-e1778619700355.jpg 710w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/LukeJerram_moon-e1778619700355-300x161.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 710px) 100vw, 710px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luke&#8217;s art objects have already travelled through more than 30 countries, with stops in England, Latvia, India, Belgium, and Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dubai has welcomed Museum of the Moon several times before, and this May, there will be <strong>special activity for kids<\/strong>. They can play with illuminated sand light boxes placed beneath, draw shapes, create patterns, and experiment with movement and light under the lunar glow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>installation opens at OliOli on May 15<\/strong>, and visitors will be able to see it until May 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">More Unusual Museums in Dubai<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re into unusual experiences, Dubai has plenty to offer.
