RTA has confirmed that <strong>90% of construction work on the new Dubai Harbour Bridge is complete<\/strong>, with the first phrase opening this month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The opening will happen in two stages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>June 2026:<\/strong> the new bridge opens for traffic from Sheikh Zayed Road towards Dubai Harbour, from both Deira and Jebel Ali<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>July 2026:<\/strong> traffic opens from Dubai Harbour towards Al Naseem Street, and from the new bridge towards the intersection of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street and Al Naseem Street<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"512\" src=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/new-Dubai-Harbor-Bridge-1024x512.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-54742\" srcset=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/new-Dubai-Harbor-Bridge-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/new-Dubai-Harbor-Bridge-300x150.jpg 300w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/new-Dubai-Harbor-Bridge-768x384.jpg 768w, https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/new-Dubai-Harbor-Bridge.jpg 1080w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The new bridge will cut the journey time from 12 minutes to three minutes. It means less time on the road if you work around Dubai Harbour, if you\u2019re heading there for an event, or even if you\u2019re waiting for food delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to RTA, <strong>construction involved 4 million work hours and 1,400 engineers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are other details of the new Dubai Harbour Bridge:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Length<\/strong>: 1.5 km<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lanes<\/strong>: two in each direction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Capacity<\/strong>: up to 6,000 vehicles in each direction<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you drive in Dubai often, don\u2019t miss another important update: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/platinumlist.net\/guide\/vat-dubai-parking-services-and-salik\/\">VAT on parking services and Salik began on June 1<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your next drive in the city could be much shorter, especially if you\u2019re heading to Dubai Harbour.
