Indian singer Neeti Mohan rose to fame in 2003 when she was crowned a winner of Channel V’s Popstars. Since her victory, Neeti has gone on to record numerous records, win several awards and perform across the world.
Born into a creative family, her two sisters, Shakti and Mukti, are award winning dancers, but Neeti went down a singing route, making her name in the reality show Popstars, winning in 2003 and being formed into the band Aasma with the other winners. As part of the band, Neeti appeared on numerous TV Shows in India before making her Bollywood debut in 2012 in Ishq Wala Love.
Her film debut and her song in the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan earned her the Filmfare RD Burman Award and Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. Neeti continued her Bollywood success with appearances in Nautanki Saala in 2013, as well as in the blockbuster film Chennai Express opposite Sunidhi Chauhan and Arijit Singh.
Neeti has lent her voice to numerous films and has worked with many of the top names in Bollywood. Following on from her initial Filmfare Award win, she won the Best Female Playback Singer award for the second time in 2017 for the song Sau Aasmaan from the film Baar Baar Dekho.
