Denis Kozhukhin, a Russian pianist, is dubbed as "one of the greatest pianists of his generation". He was born into a family of musicians, starting his piano studies at the age of five with his mother.
Kozhukhin has received numerous prestigious awards. At age 23, he won the First Prize in the 2010 Queen Elisabeth Competition in Brussels. In 2006, he was awarded third prize in the 2006 Leeds International Piano Competition.
He frequently appears with many of the leading international orchestras, such as Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, London Symphony, Staatskapelle Berlin, Israel Philharmonic, Chicago Symphony, Philadelphia Orchestra, San Francisco Symphony, Rotterdam Philharmonic, London Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, NDR Radiophilharmonie, Vienna Symphony, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic and Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, and many others.
