German DJ and producer Robin Schulz rose to fame with his 2014 remix of Mr. Probz’s Waves, hitting top spot in the UK, Germany and Sweden amongst others and reaching Platinum status in numerous countries. The remix also went on to be nominated for Best Remixed Recording at the Grammy Awards. Since then, Schulz has toured the world and released two highly acclaimed albums.
Following the success of Waves’ remix, Schulz released his debut album, Prayer, in 2014. This included another remix, this time of Prayer in C by Lilly Wood and the Prick. The remix was another hit for Schulz, charting at number 1 in 8 countries and was certified Platinum several times. Schulz’s final single from his debut album, Sun Goes Down featuring Jasmine Thompson also did well and became a hit in the electronic music scene.
Robin Schulz released his second studio album Sugar in 2015. Despite not reaching the same success as his debut album, the singles Headlights, Sugar and Show Me Love were all highly praised, with Sugar reaching the top of the charts in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and the album hitting the top spot in the latter.
Aside from his productions, Schulz has been praised for his live performances, playing at many of the top venues and festivals around the world including Pacha, Ushuaia, Creamfields and Ultra Music Festival.
