Biography & Career Five (stylized as 5ive) is a renowned British boy band hailing from London. The group was formed in 1997 by the same management team that launched the Spice Girls' career. Originally a five-piece, the band consisted of members Scott Robinson, Ritchie Neville, Sean Conlon, Abz Love, and Jason "J" Brown. Five gained moderate success worldwide, particularly in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia. They have been certified for 1.6 million albums and 3.4 million singles in the UK alone, with approximately 20 million copies sold globally. Despite disbanding in 2001, the group briefly reunited in 2006 without Conlon but disbanded again due to limited record company interest. In 2012, they planned another reunion, this time with Conlon on board, and continued as a four-member group. Five has since released new music, including their first single in 20 years, and announced the release of their fourth album in 2022. Their career has been marked by success, various lineup changes, and multiple reunions, solidifying their place in the boy band landscape.
