Biography & Career Cherry Bullet, also known as "체리블렛" in Korean, is a vibrant South Korean girl group that was brought together under the umbrella of FNC Entertainment and is currently managed by FNC W, a sub-label. They made their debut in the K-pop scene on January 21, 2019, with their inaugural single album titled "Let's Play Cherry Bullet." The group is currently composed of seven talented members: Haeyoon, Yuju, Bora, Jiwon, Remi, Chaerin, and May. It's important to note that Cherry Bullet initially boasted ten members but experienced a change when Mirae, Kokoro, and Linlin departed from the group in December 2019.
Before their official debut, several members had already gained experience within the entertainment industry. Haeyoon, for instance, participated in the renowned Mnet survival show "Produce 48" in 2018, although she ultimately did not secure a spot in the final group, Iz*One. Bora and Yuju gained recognition through their appearances in BTS' "Love Yourself: Her" highlight reel, and Yuju also made a cameo in Honeyst's "Someone to Love" music video. Jiwon embarked on her journey by auditioning for the first season of SBS' "K-pop Star" and subsequently underwent training under Starship Entertainment. Remi, on the other hand, made her early debut as one of the Prism Mates in the live-action segments of "Pretty Rhythm: Dear My Future" in 2012. Notably, the group expanded their reach by joining the Weverse platform in January 2021, providing a closer connection with their devoted fan base.
Cherry Bullet has continued to make a significant impact in the K-pop realm with releases such as their first EP, "Cherry Rush," which featured the lead single "Love So Sweet," and their second EP, "Cherry Wish," which showcased the captivating lead single "Love In Space." Their most recent release, the third EP titled "Cherry Dash," demonstrated their versatility through the lead single "P.O.W! (Play On the World)," highlighting their ongoing artistic evolution. Additionally, members Bora, Jiwon, and Chaerin ventured into the competitive world of reality television by participating in the Mnet survival show "Queendom Puzzle." Through their journey, they not only displayed their talents but also resilience, leaving an indelible mark on both their fans and the broader entertainment industry.
