As house music goes, it won’t be long until you come across Sonny Fodera. The Australian DJ and producer has enjoyed a rapid rise to the top since his early beginnings as a Hip Hop producer at 16 years old.
Fodera’s productions and DJ ability have earned him respect from house music legends Derrick Carter, Frankie Knuckles among many of the top artists on the scene today. He has released tracks on labels including Drop Music, Cajual Records, Beatdown and Defected Records.
To date, Fodera has released three albums, each of which received critical acclaim and were well received by the house music community. 2013 and 2014 saw the releases of ‘Moving Forward’ and ‘After Parties & Aeroplanes’ both on Cajual Records, before Defected released his third album ‘Frequently Flying’ in 2016.
Alongside his albums, Fodera has released numerous EPs and singles throughout his career, earning him regular airtime on various radio stations and shows as well as support from many house DJs in live sets played around the world.
Fodera has also been a regular face at many of the genre’s top clubs and festivals including Ushuaia, Amnesia and DC10 in Ibiza and Ministry of Sound in London.
