Dutch singer Cimo Fränkel quickly rose to prominence at a very early stage in his career. Having pursued his passion for music, Fränkelhas branched out to become a singer and songwriter, earning critical acclaim for a variety of his works.
Fränkel first appeared on the booming Dutch electronic music scene in 2013 when he wrote ‘Shotgun’ for Dutch DJ duo Yellow Claw. The track did considerably well, peaking at Number 9 in the Netherlands Singles Chart. He again enjoyed the same success with ‘Mooie Dag’ by Jayh, which went up to Number 16.
Fränkel then joined up with Armin van Buuren, Daddy’s Groove and EDX for a string of vocal performances. He again made headlines when he worked as a producer and writer on Chet Codes & Kris Kross Amsterdam’s worldwide hit ‘Sex’, which has since amassed over 350 million streams on Spotify.
Fränkel continued to add to his discography, working with many of the industry’s top names including Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Bebe Rexha, Skrillex, Far East Movement, Wildstylez and Laidback Luke amongst others. His career, most recently, reached a climax whenFränkel joined Armin van Buuren’s worldwide ‘Armin Only’ tour in 2016, taking him all over the globe as part of the worldwide production.
