British musician and singer-songwriter Liam Gallagher is widely known across the globe as the frontman for rock band Oasis and more recently as the lead singer of Beady Eye. Gallagher’s unique style and outspoken personality have earned him a large following around the world. Alongside Oasis, Gallagher has charted numerous times, winning multiple awards and being named Q Magazine’s Greatest Frontman of All Time in 2010.
Having formed Oasis in 1991 with school friend Paul McGuigan, Paul Arthurs and his brother Noel, Liam Gallagher and Oasis quickly rose to prominence with their debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’, which sold over 15 million copies and featured the hit singles ‘Live Forever’ and ‘Supersonic’.
The success continued for the band with ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’ which was released in 1995 and included Oasis’ most famous singles ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’, with both being certified multiple times Platinum.
Oasis continued to top the UK charts and place around the world throughout the years with hits such as ‘D’You Know What I Mean’, ‘Go Let It Out’, ‘Lyla’ and ‘The Importance of Being Idle’. As the lead singer of Beady Eyes, Liam Gallagher and the band have put out two high-charting albums, ‘Different Gear, Still Speeding’ and ‘BE’.
Gallagher has also been awarded several accolades, earning 3 Grammy nominations with Oasis and winning 6 Brit Awards. He has also headlined numerous festivals and sell-out concerts around the world including several performances at Glastonbury.
