Formed in 2003, Chase (Saul Milton) and Status (Will Kennard) are now one of the UK’s pre-eminent dance music duos. Able to turn their hand to a wide range of dance music genres, they’ve collaborated with A-list stars like Cee Lo Green, Rihanna and Tinie Tempah and released 3 well received albums with another set for release in early 2017.
Their bass-heavy sound took off during the rise of dubstep in the mid 2000s, with tracks like ‘Hurt You’ and ‘Take Me Away’ gaining them recognition on the underground circuit. By 2009, the Manchester duo had made it into the Top 40 as their Plan B collaboration ‘End Credits’ peaked at Number 9. Further success was to come their way when they released 2010’s album No More Idols, with lead singles ‘Blind Faith’ and ‘Flashing Lights’ winning them fans across the board.
Having worked hard on a stunning live show, with the duo joined by MC Rage and a stunning light and visual display, Chase & Status quickly garnered a reputation as a classic festival act. With pounding beats and seismic bass, their 3rd album Brand New Machine ushered in a darker new sound, as their signature drum and bass rhythms sat alongside crunching hip hop and trap inspired beats.
With over 1 million fans on Facebook and a third of a million followers on Soundcloud, Chase & Status continue to win fans across the globe thanks to their high energy DJ sets and spectacular live shows.
