Swedish DJ and producer Steve Angello is one of the leading talents in today’s electronic dance music scene. Having formed one third of the worldwide sensation Swedish House Mafia, Angello has also enjoyed a successful solo career, backed by the popularity of his own record label, Size Records.
Angello began releasing tracks and remixes in the early naughties, with tracks such as ‘Umbrella’ and ‘Baby When the Light’ with David Guetta building his career. It was in 2010 that his side project with Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso, Swedish House Mafia, released their hit ‘One’ with Pharrell as well as ‘Miami 2 Ibiza’ with Tinie Tempah, launching Angello onto the world scene. The trio had numerous other high-charting hits, including ‘Save the World’, ‘Greyhound’ and ‘Don’t You Worry Child’, which topped charts around the world and was certified numerous times Platinum.
Following the group’s split, Angello pursued a solo career with individual releases, collaborations and nurturing talent through Size Records. He has gone on to headline shows around the world, hosting Size and Steve Angello stages at many of the world’s best festivals including Tomorrowland and Creamfields.
