Indian singer-songwriter Armaan Malik is quickly becoming one of the most popular names in Bollywood. Having begun his career at a young age, Mailk spent most of his teenage years establishing himself as an exciting prospect, recording numerous tracks on several Bollywood hit films.
The son of music director Daboo Malik, Armaan signed a deal with Universal Music India in 2001, aged just 16. By that time, Malik had already sung 4 tracks on the film ‘Chillar Party’. He continued this success with songs on ‘Jai Ho’, starring Salman Khan.
The turn of the decade saw Malik collaborate with more high-profile names, including Rishi Kapoor, star of ‘Kapoor & Sons’ in 2016, ‘Ki & Ka’s leads Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor and 2016’s ‘Baaghi’, alongside the Meet Bros. 2016 was Malik’s biggest year so far, which also saw him win the Filmfare Award for New Music Talent, amongst several other accolades.
