American rapper Busta Rhymes is arguably one of the greatest rap and hip-hop MCs to have ever lived. Having established himself as one of the leading acts of the 1990s, Busta Rhymes has travelled the world performing to thousands of fans and has seen his award-winning discography top charts across the globe.
Busta Rhymes released his first studio album in 1996, with ‘The Coming’ topping the US R&B chart and becoming Platinum certified in the process. He repeated this feat with 1997’s ‘When Disaster Strikes’ and ‘Anarchy’ in 2000. He has also had numerous other Top Ten albums and high charting singles, most notably ‘Look at Me Now’ with Chris Brown and ‘Don’t Cha’ with the Pussycat Dolls which topped charts around the globe.
Busta Rhymes has also been formally recognised a number of times, earning 11 Grammy nominations including Best Rap Album and Best Rap Solo Performance. Busta Rhymes has travelled around the world performing at many of the leading Hip-hop festivals and concerts as well as headlining several of his own tours.
