Biography & Career  
Junoon, a Sufi rock band hailing from Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, was formed in 1990. The band, led by founder, lead guitarist, and songwriter Salman Ahmad, quickly expanded with the addition of keyboardist Nusrat Hussain and vocalist Ali Azmat. With an impressive track record, Junoon stands as one of Pakistan's and South Asia's most successful bands, having earned recognition as "One of the biggest bands in the world" by Q magazine and being referred to as "the U2 of Pakistan" by The New York Times.   Throughout their career, Junoon has released a remarkable total of nineteen albums, encompassing seven studio albums, one soundtrack, two live albums, four video albums, and five compilations. Their music has achieved extraordinary success, with over 30 million copies sold worldwide.
