TJ Monterde, born on December 30, 1989, in San Pedro, Davao City, is a talented singer-songwriter. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Developmental Communication from Xavier University in Cagayan De Oro City. Even at the young age of four, TJ discovered his passion for singing. His sister, Roxine Monterde, would often tell him that he would unknowingly hum tunes, revealing his innate musical talent.

Starting from hosting, TJ stepped out of his comfort zone and embarked on a challenging journey to create exceptional and inspiring Original Pinoy Music (OPM). Leaving Cagayan De Oro City behind, he headed to Manila armed with nothing but his guitar, a multitude of music ideas, and boundless dreams. Through his unwavering courage and dedication, he eventually proved himself as an artist. Finally, on April 29, 2013, one of TJ's dreams materialized as he released a self-titled album, featuring his breakthrough single "Ikaw at Ako," under Polyester Records. This song quickly gained popularity on social media, dominated radio stations, and climbed the music charts. As a result, TJ found himself performing in various shows, participating in interviews, and gracing the covers of music magazines. He earned the moniker "The Next Acoustic Heartthrob.
