For Electronic Dance Music enthusiasts, Dutch duo W&W are often their first choice in productions and live sets. The duo, formed by Ward and Willem, first stepped onto the scene in 2007, but their real big break came in 2012 with the production of Shotgun and Moscow, both of which were repeatedly played on the hugely popular radio show, A State of Trance, hosted by then world number one DJ, Armin van Buuren.
Since this initial success, the duo continued to release chart toppers and catchy remixes, finding themselves as regular guests on numerous radio shows. With their production success, W&W also received bookings across the world at some of the largest festivals and alongside many of the world’s biggest DJs and performers.
From 2013 onwards the duo shifted their musical style to a more big room and mainstream sound, finding a lot of success alongside fellow Dutchman, Hardwell, who also put out some records on his Revealed label.
2014’s Bigfoot became a Beatport No. 1 and also entered the top 50 in the US Dance chart and further charted worldwide. The duo continued to release tracks, which were well received, and ranked 14th in the DJ Mag Top 100 list in 2015. As a result W&W’s fan base rapidly grew and they began entertaining millions of people annually across the globe and headline some of dance music’s largest festivals including Ultra Music Festival and Tomorrowland.
Willem and Ward have repeatedly shown their ability to produce EDM hits and work on remixes of some of the most popular chart hits, as well as play energetic and entertaining sets. 2016 saw the duo nominated for an NRJ Music Award for Best Collaboration of the Year as the praise from fans continues to pour in.
