Dutch DJ and producer Afrojack is one of the most in-demand DJs in the industry today. Having established himself as a main-stage favourite through his powerful productions and energetic live sets he has toured the world performing for thousands of fans ever since his 2003 DJ debut.
After learning how to DJ at the age of 14, he released his debut single as Afrojack in 2007. The track ‘In Your Face’ charted at Number 60 in the Netherlands. His second single, Drop Down (Do MY Dance) reached Number 12 in the same chart in 2008, just as the electronic dance music genre was beginning to reach airwaves around the world.
Afrojack continued to release singles and became a household name on the festival and club scene. In 2010 Afrojack joined forces with Eva Simmons and released Take Over Control which charted across Europe, being twice certified Platinum.
Afrojack’s highest charting production came in 2011 when he worked with Pitbull on ‘ Me Everything’ which also featured Nayer and rapper Ne-Yo. The track topped the UK and US Singles Charts and was certified platinum multiple times. He also achieved commercial success on David Guetta’s track ‘Hey Mama’ which featured the vocals of Nicki Minaj and Bebe Rexha.
In 2014 Afrojack released his debut album ‘Forget the World’ which went on to reach the 4th spot in the Netherlands as well as receive recognition around the globe.
