French DJ and producer Martin Solveig is one of the world’s most popular house producers today. Having been a presence in the industry since 1994, Solveig has garnered a huge fan base around the world through his unique productions and catchy tunes.
Following his debut studio album, Solveig released Hedonist in 2005. The album did well and hit Number 43 on the French Albums Chart. His third album, C’est la Vie, did even better and went up to Number 16. The album also saw the singles ‘I Want You’ and ‘Boys & Girls’ also do well, earning Solveig respect for his music.
It was in 2010 that Solveig truly burst onto the world scene with his track ‘Hello’ featuring Dragonette. The track became an instant hit and topped the charts in Belgium, Austria, Mexico, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic as well as topping the US Dance Chart.
Solveig continued to release singles from the Smash album and eventually progressed to more success through further singles ‘Hey Now’ with The Cataracs, ‘+1’, ‘Do It Right’ and ‘Intoxicated’. All of Solveig’s productions have been well received and have received constant airplay from DJs around the world.
Solveig has also travelled the world performing for thousands of fans. He has headlined shows and festivals in Europe, the USA and Asia and is a frequent visitor to clubs in Ibiza. The DJ Mag Top 100 DJs List has also recognized him numerous times, most notably in 2011 where he placed in 29th position.
