Biography & Career Russell Kane, a talented comedian, writer, and actor hailing from Essex, has had a remarkable career in the world of comedy. His rise to fame began in 2004 when he claimed victory in the Laughing Horse New Act of the Year competition and secured second place in the renowned competition, So You Think You're Funny.
In 2008, Kane made a memorable appearance on the popular BBC One program, Live at the Apollo. The following year, he achieved great success with his play, Fakespeare, which debuted at the Edinburgh Festival and later embarked on a successful tour in 2010.
