Like some of the best and longest-standing DJs and producers in dance music, Sander Van Doorn has moved with the times and shifted his signature DJ sets and sounds to reflect the current mood and styles.
A breakthrough DJ in 2007 with a strong trance identity, he’s since shifted to incorporate more tech-house elements, and recently embraced the electro-house and EDM template which has been making big waves in dance music. He’s remixed for some of pop music’s biggest names including Lady Gaga, Sia, Depeche Mode, Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren, while he released his debut album on big Dutch label Spinnin’ Records in 2008. That was followed by a big jump in ticket sales, as he started playing world-renowned music festivals like Electric Zoo in New York, Guvernment in Toronto and a month-long American tour under his Dusk Till Doorn banner.
2014 saw him become part of the new wave of EDM producers and DJs that took over festival bills and dominating Beatport, as he teamed up with Martin Garrix and DVBBS for their chart-topping single ‘Gold Skies.’ An ever-present on the DJ Magazine Top 100 poll and as busy now as he was 10 years ago at his trance peak, Sander Van Doorn has managed to move with the times while staying true to his trance roots, gaining millions of fans along the way.
