Canadian singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen is one of the most recognisable names in the world pop music scene at the moment. Having stolen headlines in 2012 with her hit single ‘Call Me Maybe’ she has gone on to perform around the world for thousands of fans, picking up numerous awards along the way.
Having begun her career in Canada with her 2008 album, ‘Tug of War’, it was in 2012 that Jepsen became an international sensation when her song ‘Call Me Maybe’ was released. The song topped charts across the globe including in the USA, UK and Australia and was certified multiple times Platinum by many of the leading record certification bodies.
Jepsen’s success continued with ‘Good Time’, in which she collaborated with Owl City and the 2015 single ‘I Reall Like You’, starring Tom Hanks in the popular music video. Jepsen has also been formally recognised numerous times, winning three Billboard Music Awards, two Teen Choice Awards and two Grammy Award nominations, including one for Song of the Year.
