As comedians go, India’s very own Jeeveshu Ahluwalia is one of the most relatable names on the scene. Having never looked anywhere other than stand-up comedy, one thing is for sure, Jeeveshu was born to make people laugh.
Armed with quick wit, spontaneous one-liners and quirky jokes, Jeeveshu brings home a lot of his jokes to his audiences with his stories of being overweight and how his mother’s only true dream is for him to get married.
With over 2000 shows under his belt, he has garnered an impressive C.V. Which includes performances at colleges, universities, comedy festivals and some of the biggest clubs in the Indian comedy circuit. His unique brand of humour has also seen him perform at shows in Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines and the UAE amongst others.
Off stage, Jeeveshu has also debuted on the Bollywood big screen in Tamasha starring alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone. His on screen career doesn’t end there however, as he has also starred on Zee TV in Gangs of Haseepur and numerous commercials for some of the biggest brands in the nation.
Whilst the sound of laughter might be enough of a reward for Jeeveshu, he also won the Radio Mirchi Comedy Ka King in 2014 and has had many of his sketches and stand-up videos go viral across India several times over.
