If you’re planning to take the bus to Dubai International Airport (DXB), be aware that several routes have been temporarily cancelled due to roadwork near the airport. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has made changes to multiple bus services heading to Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.

Which Bus Routes Are Affected?

The following routes are cancelled until further notice:

  • Route 24 (towards Al Nahda) – No stop at Terminal 1
  • Route 32C (towards Al Satwa) – No stop at Terminal 1
  • Route 33 (towards Al Karama) – No stop at Terminal 1
  • Route 77 – No stop at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3
  • Route N30 – Fully cancelled in both directions
  • Route C01 – No stop at Terminal 3 towards Al Satwa

These changes come just as DXB prepares for a surge in passengers before Ramadan, with over 280,000 travelers expected daily. If you’re heading to the airport, plan ahead and check for updates on bus routes and metro availability.

Alternative Stops and Travel Options

While some stops have been removed, there are alternative options for passengers:

  • Route 24 will now stop at Terminal 3 instead of Terminal 1.
  • Route 33 passengers can use the Emirates Metro Station bus stop 1 instead.
  • Route N30 travelers should head to Airport Terminal 1, External Parking to catch a bus towards International City.

For those affected, the RTA suggests using the Dubai Metro, as Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 stations on the Red Line are fully operational.
