Winter in Bahrain is all about enjoying the outdoors — and one of the season’s biggest highlights is the return of BNP Paribas Bahrain Jazz Fest, now in its ninth edition. Mark your calendars: the event is set for December 5, 2025, and will once again take place at The Royal Golf Club.
This year’s theme, “Building Bridges,” aims to spotlight Bahraini heritage, along with jazz and blues influences that bring people and cultures together. The open-air festival has become a key event on Bahrain’s winter calendar, blending community spirit with great music and a laid-back atmosphere.

Festival-goers can look forward to Grammy award-winning artists, international jazz talent, and plenty of local performers as they take the stage. While the full artist lineup and list of vendors haven’t been announced yet, they are expected soon, so stay tuned for more updates.
Aside from the music, the Bahrain Jazz Fest always brings a full day of experiences. There will be food stalls, family-friendly entertainment, and markets. The festival is designed to amuse the visitors of all ages, and guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs, picnic blankets, or even umbrellas to make themselves comfortable while enjoying the show.

Recognised globally by the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz and UNESCO’s International Jazz Day (which was held in Abu Dhabi this year), Bahrain Jazz Fest is the only event of its kind in the Middle East with this status. It continues to shine a spotlight on the region’s growing appreciation for jazz culture and live performance.
While there are still a few months to go before the big day, there’s no shortage of things to do in the meantime. Check out Top Weekend Events in Bahrain for August 7–9 to keep your calendar full and your weekends exciting.
